Warning: All single males between the ages of 18 and 30 are required to report to the Monterey Marriott where they will auctioned off like cattle. Those who fail to report will be hunted down, beaten, and then auctioned off like cattle. Hold up, gentlemen; please unload your shotguns, I’m just kidding. However, 20 unsuspecting bachelors will indeed be sold off to the highest woman bidder. Fortunately it won’t immediately involve any sort of long-term commitment, just a variety of “date” packages, ranging from golf (how romantic) to helicopter rides (hope she doesn’t get motion sickness). Group dates and special packages for those who are not single will also be available. Hors d’oeuvres and wine plus entertainment by Lee Durley and Illuminati will top off the event. Proceeds all go to Community Partnership for Youth. So, support a worthy cause, take a risk, and get in line; they’re heating up the branding irons out back.
